It’s never too late to start!
As therapists, educators and moms, we found that each time we read a parenting resource or attended a parent education event, we walked away feeling like we had failed our children and we had “done all the wrong things.”
So we decided to use our combined experience working with parents and adolescents to create educational content that allows parents to walk away feeling empowered, hopeful, and a little more relaxed. As we like to say in parenting, “we nailed it-ish.“

About Megan
Megan Broderick is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience working with adolescents, couples, and families. Megan has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Wake Forest University and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of San Diego. She has been the director of counseling at an elite college prep school in San Diego, Calif., since 2014, where she provides social emotional support for students ages 12 through 18. She also creates a health and well-being curriculum for faculty, staff, parents and caregivers, as well as students of all grade levels. Before beginning her career in counseling, Megan was a talent booker for The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she booked celebrity guests and served as an on-screen correspondent for traveling events. Megan enjoys practicing Muy Thai, playing tennis and reading. She lives in La Jolla with her husband and three daughters.
About Lauren
Lauren Gray is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a variety of settings, including intensive outpatient treatment, private practice, and schools. Lauren has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Jose State University and a master’s degree in Social Work from New York Unversity. Lauren has been a school counselor at an elite college prep school in San Diego since 2022 and worked as a counselor at a public school for four years prior, providing emotional support, faculty, staff, and family education, and creating health curriculum for students ages 12-18. In addition, she is a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and has a passion for sharing approachable and tangible parenting strategies to families at all stages of their journey. In her free time, Lauren enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with her husband and two young children.
Parent & Caregiver Education
We offer a parent and caregiver education series that benefits families in all different walks of their parenting journey. With 28 years of collective experience counseling adolescents and families in private practice, agencies and schools, while also raising young families in dual working parent homes, we offer parenting advice and guidance that is approachable and offers tangible takeaways and interventions that parents and caregivers can start using in their homes immediately. Our trainings are created from current research, relevant media (including books, articles, podcasts and TedTalks), and examples from our combined years of experience working with kids and adolescents, often through the most delicate moments of their lives.

While parents have long feared “the teenage years,” we can help our teens and tweens to navigate this phase with confidence, empathy and strength. We know that it is anxiety-reducing for young people when the adults in their lives are sending similar messages.
